The new PetSafe Breed Identification DNA Kit includes all the features of our original DNA Breed
Identification test (test for 63 breeds, Ancestry Analysis Certificate and a detailed Breed Behavior,
Health and Personality Summary) with the additional features of the DNA Pet ID.
The DNA test kit will identify which breeds are present in your pet. PetSafe’s database can detect
genetic make-up of 92% of the mixed breed population in the United States. Determining the breeds
present in your mixed breed dog offers more benefits than just being able to answer correctly when
someone asks you, “What kind of dog is that?” The Behavior, Health and Personality summary will
identify the breed associated traits that may be present in your dog. This information can help
identify possible health concerns and help with the proper training and general care of your pet. The
Bonus Pack also includes updated and easier to follow instructions.
Permanent Record of Your Dog's DNA:
With the DNA Breed Identification Bonus Pack, your pet’s DNA is permanently stored in a bonded,
climate controlled facility. DNA on file is the best possible way to prove proof of ownership if your pet

The dog DNA test kit will arrive at your door within 2-6 business days (depending on shipping
method). After you mail the information card and swabs, BioPet Vet Lab will process it in about
two weeks and mail the DNA test results back to you.
